My struggle with Crohn’s Disease

This comic is a memoiristic account of my experience of living with Crohn’s Disease, which can be an unforgiving illness. The comic takes an unflinching and pretty gruesome look at the illness, which causes me some feelings of embarrassment, but it’s important to express this stuff. I’ve tried to reflect on some of the intersections between patient experience and the social construction of illness.
